History
The corner site was home to the Canterbury Public Library. One hundred years on, when the library was moved to a larger premises, the building was renovated for commercial office purposes.
Unfortunately, the buildings sustained serious damage in the Christchurch earthquake sequence of 2010 and 2011, and were subsequently demolished.
